Thy propitious lights emerges out of the darkness of sorrows [দুঃখের তিমিরে যদি জ্বলে তব মঙ্গল-আলোক ]

Thy propitious lights emerges out of the darkness of sorrows                    

             [দুঃখের তিমিরে যদি জ্বলে    তব  মঙ্গল-আলোক ]

      

দুঃখের তিমিরে যদি জ্বলে      তব  মঙ্গল-আলোক -
Out of the darkness of pains and sorrows-
I thy propitious lights emerge,

                          তবে তাই হোক। 1
           Let then do that happen.

মৃত্যু যদি কাছে    আনে তোমার অমৃতময় লোক
If death takes us to thy land of deathlessness, 

                     তবে তাই হোক। .2
Let then do that happen.

পূজার প্রদীপে তব জ্বলে যদি  মম  দীপ্ত   শোক
If the flame of my burning candle in worship hall,
Burns down also my heart-burns,

                         তবে তাই হোক।3
                    Let then do that happen.

অশ্রু-আঁখির-পরে যদি ফুটে ওঠে  তব  স্নেহচোখ -
If on my tear-filled eyes, draws the attention 
                                       of thy affectionate eyes,

                         তবে তাই হোক। 4
                               Let then do that happen.
