                                       SOUNDLESS FLOWING CEASELESSLY 
                              [ হে বিরাট নদী, অদৃশ্য  নিঃশব্দ তব জল চলে নিরবধি ]

                                 হে বিরাট নদী,
                                    Oh, the  grand river ,
                                    অদৃশ্য  নিঃশব্দ তব জল ,
                                      Invisble and  soundness thy water 
                                        অবিচ্ছিন্ন  অবিরল
                                           Ceseaselessly and continously 
                                                   চলে  নিরবধি    ।
                                               flowing through countless time .                    

                               স্পন্দনে শিহরে শূন্য তব রুদ্র কায়াহীন বেগে ;
                            Thy pulsating profound formless forces, shiverring the space       
                                   বস্তুহীন প্রবাহের প্রচণ্ড আঘাত লেগে
                                 The tremendous collutions of thy massless currents
                                           পুঞ্জ পুঞ্জ বস্তুফেনা উঠে  জেগে ;
                                  Giving birth of heaps and  heaps of bubbles of masses ,
                                         ক্রন্দসী কাঁদিয়া ওঠে বহ্নিভরা মেঘে।
                                 And lobour-pains of delivering those clouds of fire, making mother-sky cry. .
                                 আলোকের তীব্রচ্ছটা  বিচ্ছুরিয়া ওঠে  বর্ণস্রোতে
                                   Dazling lights of fierceful rays, releasing the currents of colors
                                       ধাবমান অন্ধকার হতে ;
                                     From out the fleeing away darkness  ;
                                           ঘূর্ণাবর্তে ঘুরে ঘুরে মরে
                                       Leaving  those masses roating, round their circular  routes,
                                                        স্তরে স্তরে
                                             In  the layers  after layers
                                                     সূর্যচন্দ্রতারা  যত  বুঁদবুঁদের মতো।
                                           These Stars, Suns and Moons in this  sky-wide grand river  .
                                                         

হে  ভৈরবী , ওগো বৈরাগিণী ,

Oh, [the river] are you a fierce Lady, and also a Lady indifference,

চলেছে যে নিরুদ্দেশ সেই  চলা  তোমার রাগিনী,

Does this journet has any objective, just a preworded lyric,

শব্দহীন সুর।

with a soundless tune .

অন্তহীন দূর

Is someone's callings from endless distance,

তোমারে কি নিরন্তর দেয় সাড়া।

And that is continuosly sending impulse in your heart ?

সর্বনাশা প্রেমে তার নিত্য তাই তুমি ঘরছাড়া।

on that maddening love o that caller, you became a permanent nomad.

উন্মত্ত সে অভিসারে

In this maddening journey to meet your lover,

তব বক্ষহারে

From thy jewel-fitted necklace,

ঘন ঘন লাগে দোলা - ছড়ায় অমনি

restless dwindlings , instantly scattering

নক্ষত্রের মণি ;

diamonds of stars,

আঁধারিয়া  ওড়ে শূন্যে ঝড়ো এলো চুল ;

Darkening the space, your hairs are creating the storms,

দুলে ওঠে  বিদ্যুতের দুল ;

Frequent movements your ear-rings of lightening,

অঞ্চল আকুল

Thy ....elated extended parts of gowns,

গড়ায় কম্প্রিত  তৃণে ,

rolling over the shivering grasses

চঞ্চল পল্লব পুঞ্জে বিপিনে   বিপিনে ;

Over the purplexed leaves and buds of the gardens;

বারম্বার ঝরে ঝরে পড়ে  ফুল

Again and agaain, dropping down the flowers on Earth,

জুঁই চাঁপা ব্কুল পারুল

Flowers from Jui Campa Bakul and Parul

পথে পথে

On the roads and passages,

তোমার ঋতুর  থালি হতে।

From the stored stocks of the Seasons.

শুধু ধাও,  শুধু ধাও ,  শুধু বেগে ধাও,

Thou only on the run, running out and away, runing with great force, 

 উদ্দাম উধাও ;

Indomitable, expanding out of vision;

 ফিরে নাহি চাও ,

No looking back ever,

যা কিছু তোমার সব দুই হাতে ফেলে ফেলে  যাও।

Whatever are within you, all are pushed out, by your own hands.

কুড়ায়ে লাও না কিছু , কর না  সঞ্চয় ;

You don't collect or gather, or  save anything ;

নাই শোক ,  নাই ভয় ,

You have no grief, no fear

পথের  আনন্দ বেগে অবাধে পাথেয় করো ক্ষয়।

You are eroding all your resources, boundlessly, for the pleasure of fastest move

যে মুহূর্তে পূর্ণ তুমি সে মুহূর্তে কিছু  তব  নাই ,

The moment you achieve your fulfilment you will have nothing left with you,

তুমি তাই পবিত্র  সদাই।

Thus you remain purest and ever clean.

তোমার চরণস্পর্শে  বিশ্বধূলি

By the touch of your feet, all the dusts of this unverse,

মলিনতা যায় ভুলি

Getting washed of their gathered rust,

পলকে পলকে -

In every single moment, ceaselessly,

মৃত্যু ওঠে প্রাণ হয়ে ঝলকে ঝলকে।

Deaths move into births, in sparklong speeds.

যদি তুমি মুহূর্তের তরে 

If you, ever, for a single moment, 

ক্লান্তি ভরে দাড়াও থমকি ,

Suddenly stop and stand , out of tiredness,

তখনি চমকি, উচ্ছৃয়া উঠিবে বিশ্ব পুঞ্জ  পুঞ্জ  বস্তুর পর্বতে ;

Instantly shakened up universe be dumped under the mounted up heaps of masses

পঙ্গু  মূক কবন্ধ  বধির  আঁধা

Crippled dumbed headless deaf and blinding

স্থুলতনু  ভয়ঙ্করী বাধা

Corpulent fritening barricades 

সবারে  ঠেকায়ে  দিয়ে দাঁড়াইবে পথে ;

Blockading every thing, shall stand on the way of scape;

অনুতম পরমাণু  আপনার ভারে

Smallest particles of atoms, by it's own weight

সঞ্চয়ের অচল বিকারে

Under the deliriums of the mountenious accumulations,

বিদ্ধ  হবে আকাশে মর্মমূলে

Pierce inside the core of heart of the Sky [Space]

কলুশের বেদনার শূলে।

By the trident of painfully crippled Creation.

                  ওগো নটি , চঞ্চল  অপ্সরী ,
                      Oh, the Dancing Lady, restless fairy lady,
                  অলক্ষ্য  সুন্দরী ,
                           Invisible beauty,
                   তব নৃত্যমন্দাকিনী  নিত্য ঝরি ঝরি
                           Waves of thy dancing, like Devine river {mandakini}-
                                                         has been dripping down daily,
                    তুলিতেছে শুচি  করি মৃত্যু স্নানে বিশ্বের জীবন।
                           And refreshing the life in the universe,
                                                   by bathing them with the deaths,
                    নিঃশেষে নির্মল নীলে বিকাশিছে নিখিল গগন।
                            Thus only, in the entirely refreshed blue,
                                   ever smiling are the skies all over the Universe.

                         ওরে কবি , তোরে আজি করেছে উতালা
                              Hey, the poet, you have now been made exulted,
                                  ঝংকার মুখরা  এই ভুবন মেখলা ,
                              By the Garrulous Jingling of this moving universe ,
                                      অলক্ষিত চরণের অকারণ আবরণ চলা।
                                And her causeless ceaseless moves with her unseen feet.


                           নাড়ীতে নাড়ীতে তোর চঞ্চলের  শুনি পদধ্বনি ,
                                  In your veins I hear the sounds of the dancing feet of the restless,
                                         বক্ষ তোর  উঠে  রনরনি।
                                  Your chest has become sonorous .
                                        নাহি জানে কেউ
                                              No one knows that,
                                রক্তে  তোর নাচে আজি সমুদ্রের ঢেউ ,
                                      In your blood dancing are the waves of oceans,
                                           কাঁপে  আজি অরণ্যের ব্যাকুলতা ;
                                       Trembelling  there, are the wild impatience ;
                                 মনে আজি  পড়ে  সেই কথা --
                                      Came back to-day that rememberence  -
                                                যুগে যুগে এসেছি  চলিয়া
                                      Ages after ages, I have come passing by,
                                               স্খলিয়া  স্খলিয়া
                                        Abandoning, falling and rolling
                                                চুপে চুপে , সেই স্রোত
                                            Silently soundlessly, by that waving currents
                                                   রূপ হতে রূপে
                                             From one form and shape to the another,
                                                   প্রাণ হতে প্রাণে।
                                              From one living body  to the other .
                                                      নিশীথে প্রভাতে
                                            In the darkness of night and in the day-light
                                                    যা কিছু পেয়েছি হাতে,
                                           Whatever came to my possession,
                                        এসেছি করিয়া ক্ষয়  দান  হতে দানে ,
                                             Emptied that by gift and donation,
                                                   গান  হতে গানে।
                                            Singing departing songs after songs.



                                           ওরে দেখ সেই স্রোত  হয়েছে  মুখর ,
                                      Hey, see that same currents  has been elloquent,
                                                   তরণী  কাঁপিছে থরথর।
                                      My body-boat is throbbing and trembling .
                                            তীরের সঞ্চয় তোর পড়ে  থাক তীরে ,
                                    Let your accumulations at this shore, be left herein back,
                                                  তাকাস না ফিরে।
                                      Don't look back for that.
                                                         সম্মুখের বাণী
                                       The message coming from the front
                                                     নিক তোরে টানি
                                                  Let that drag you in
                                                        মহাস্রোতে
                                                 That great current-
                                          পশ্চাতের  কোলাহল হতে
                                                Leaving the tumulting past,
                                         অতল আঁধারে- আকুল আলোতে।
                                   In the endless darkness or may be in the alluring light .
